Description: Providing applications with the ability to record internal and external sounds that appear in the system regardless of application or device type, and blocking sound streams.

Challenge: Some utilities do not support recording both types of the stream: incoming and outcoming, at the same time intercepting all the sound data packets. Before the case it was hard to get the full information about the stream parameters and the sound stream owner. Not all of the utilities support multiple file formats for saving the sound.
Solution: Our team made it real that all the sounds from web browsers, microphone, Skype, and media players are recorded into the WAV file or any other compressed format, regardless of the fact that the sound stream is in out. Users can get the precise data about sound stream owner like direction and format of the sound stream, session ID, etc. The utility can block sound streams owned by the specified “black listed” processes.
