Cocktail Exchange App Prototype
Description: Mobile app prototype with 9 fully-designed screens where users can create and exchange cocktails with each other.
Client: US private entrepreneur.
Challenge: With active development of social media channels our client wished to bring some fresh idea to communication in social networks. With this app users are able to create virtual drinks and exchange them with friends. The app had to be bright and full of interactive elements like brand icons, colorful images of the cocktails and overall app design. The main issue was to provide an easy way to create coctail due to long list of ingridients and several steps required to get it.
Solution: Our team developed an engaging prototype using proto.io where potential users could experience all major interactions. The app prototype has a bright design together with all cocktail images. For the majority of cocktail ingredients we added brand icons for better recognition (Malibu, Bacardi etc.). Users can also appreciate drinks and the number of times this particular drink has been shared is shown in a special icon. The app prototype has 9 screens where users can: choose or browse a cocktail from existing list or create their own cocktail which will be saved in a list for further usage. Users are also able to see recipes of all cocktails in the base. We also came up with the idea of getting video for the cocktail – especially for the featured cocktails that are made by professionals. We also provided client with a project specifications document for further development.
