Online Application Frontend – GPS Tracking Platform
Description: A SaaS platform that gives an opportunity to control trips, orders and reports on user accounts. A multifunctional backend system allows the support staff to manage client accounts. Brand, sales and corporate websites allow to study the information about the company and then buy GPS tracking products.

Challenge: First, the data storage of the system had to be changed to correspond the new system requirements leaving the old data compliant. Then, the report formation process was overlong because of the large data amount and had to be accelerated.
Solution: To improve speed and usability performance as well as the general look of the application there were a few steps undertaken. Initially, the team preceded with the backend part creating the online application with Ruby on Rails technology to give a modern substitution to the already existing .Net variant. The new application enabled numerous selling, managing (client accounts and financial report systems), and billing processes (PayPal, CC, Cheques, DirectDebit, EFT etc.). There is an integration with CRM systems, payment gateways and GSM providers in the new system. Online application frontend is represented with an up-to-date yet understandable for the existing users appearance.
