RaceQs – GPS mobile app for yachting
Description: Redevelopment, testing and technical support for the major yachtsmen’s gps tracking application.
Client: Private entrepreneur, USA
Challenge: The client came to us in order to finish development and fix the bugs of the mobile application for yachting, after another developer has programmed it. The most critical issue there was inability of uploading tracks on a server, which was a key feature of the app. Another crucial issue was to release the app within the short time, before the yachting competition would start.
Solution: Since the timeframes for the app’s release were very short, we assigned our Senior Developer to get into the code and speed up the process of finishing development and bugs fixing. Because our team had prior experience working with GPS tracking apps, the bug related to the tracks upload was fixed properly. We also provided the solution for the tracks upload to the server in case if the internet connection is unavailable. At the meantime our testers were making sure that each version works properly.
Success story: We finished the project on time and the client is still trusting us the maintenance of his app and what is more – he decided to develop the future versions of his app with us.
