Mobile Social App Design
Description: Mobile app where users can share their advice on the best destinations in their city to work at: parks, cafes, co-workings etc. and leave rates for WiFi quality, seats, outlet and view.
Client: Private company from the USA.
Challenge: The idea for the app is very similar to Foursquare, but our client decided to concentrate on places where people could work from other than offices. Users should have an opportunity to choose from existing offices or “Set up their own office” if there was no matching. Every place should have its own profile where users could evaluate the place by the following parameters: WiFi, seats, atmosphere and location. The main challenge was to design screens precisely according to our customer’s expectations since he already had design from previous provider he didn’t really enjoy.
Solution: Our team delivered 17 elegantly-designed screens for the app. With screens where users could log in, update their profiles with email or connect to social media account. After that users are welcome to rate places they work at by: WiFi connection, seating, number of outlets, view and even how they liked coffee and snacks! They are also able to add photos of the venue. Once the place is new to the app, the user can add add it and offer others to rate it. Users will also be able to invite others to the meeting by synchronizing the app with their calendar. Any office can be added to favourites, shared on social media or recommended.
