Description: Technical research on app development of mobile ad replacement app, feasibility study and further proved recommendation to choose the most appropriate variant.
Client: US enterprise.
Challenge: After successful realization of the ad replacement tool for web, our customer was considering ways to implement the same solution for mobile devices. The app identified resources the ads come from, blocked them in case the resource suspicious and replaces with the ads from trusted ones.
Solution: There were two possible variants of this app realization from our team’s point of view. First, we considered the ability to make a browser version as it’s impossible to publish the app on google play with feature to block ads. We suggested some browser to bring the app to the market. Another idea was to use a proxy server, but that version would work more slowly. As a result our client got full overview with detailed description of the main stages, stats, features and estimates.
